The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) was created in 1982 to further the values espoused by Mother Teresa and by pioneers such as Lillian Wald, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and Claude Pepper. Our primary purpose is to help those who devote their lives in caring for infirm, disabled and dying Americans.
NAHC is the largest organization in this field, the unified voice of the home care and hospice industry. NAHC represents this rapidly growing industry before the Congress and the media. It strives for excellence in every respect. Through its service, NAHC works to make it easier for its members and the nurses and other caregivers they employ, to provide the highest quality of services to Americans who are ill or in need.
NAHC serves its members by being the best and most respected advocacy organization in Washington. NAHC also serves by giving members the information that they need on a timely basis, and the educational resources to help members stay abreast of the legislative and regulatory changes that flow endlessly from Washington. NAHC has also taken on the responsibility of helping its members with their business development, which often spells the difference between success and failure.
The Caring Store is a electronic representation of the many ways that NAHC serves its members. Herein are found instructional workbooks and manuals assembled by the knowledgeable NAHC experts. They provide readers with time-tested expert advice and concrete solutions for dealing with a multiplicity of problems which confront the home care and hospice community.
We are proud to share these resources with you. If you have questions about NAHC or other member services, please call our Membership Services Department at 202-547-7424 or visit www.nahc.org. We are proud to serve you and to facilitate your important work.
